I am a  Licensed Professional Counselor in West Virginia and Virginia, and a Nationally Board-Certified Music Therapist passionate about helping children and adolescents (ages 3 to 17) build resilience, emotional strength, and self-confidence. I specialize in trauma-informed care and use expressive, developmentally appropriate approaches, including music therapy, art-based techniques, sand tray therapy, play therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to help clients process emotions, regulate feelings, and integrate difficult experiences.

My approach is client-centered, ethically grounded, and tailored to meet each child where they are, emotionally and developmentally — drawing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Psychodynamic principles. I believe that supporting mental health early in life lays the foundation for long-term emotional resilience and well-being. I am deeply committed to empowering children and their families as they navigate life challenges, helping them recognize their inner strengths, and developing the tools needed for a hopeful and healthy future. My goal is to walk alongside young clients as they grow stronger, more confident, and fully themselves.

When I'm not working, I am pursuing a PhD in Clinical Psychology, and in my free time, I enjoy staying active through CrossFit, baking, and engaging with music, both by listening and playing.
