How it all started
Continuous Journey started in May of 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic. The goal was to offer a safe place for people to be able to process what was occurring in the world during this time of uncertainty. As the world moved past the pandemic, Continuous Journey continues to strive for a compassionate, judgement-free zone where one can be themselves and achieve a healthy way to cope with issues within their life. At Continuous Journey, LLC, Psychological Assessment is another service we offer.
Meet the team
I am a licensed graduate social worker dedicated to supporting individuals and families through compassionate, strength-based care. My approach uses a person-in-environment perspective, which considers all aspects of a person's life when developing a treatment plan with patients.
I'm a compassionate clinician and foreign-trained physician pursuing a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. My unique blend of medical and psychological training allows me to address the connection between physical and emotional well-being through evidence-based, client-centered care.
I am Dr. Jyotsna Milbourne. I am the owner of Continuous Journey and a clinical psychologist. I earned my doctorate (Psy.D.) in 2004 from the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University. I have over 20 years of experience working with adolescents and adults.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in West Virginia and Virginia, and a Nationally Board-Certified Music Therapist passionate about helping children and adolescents (ages 3 to 17) build resilience, emotional strength, and self-confidence.
